Current Projects
As alluded to on our home page, the past years have truly been
extraordinary in the global disaster recovery community. Terrorism
attacks, massive power
blackouts, ice storms, spectacular hurricanes, and the most recent
cataclysmic tsunami have made Disaster Recovery the key area of PMCentral
Systems' focus.

PMCentral Systems has designed a series of modules that together form a
robust Enterprise-Level system for disaster management and recovery.
Although the systems are currently mostly being deployed in the telecommunications
arena, they are equally suitable for and already designed to accommodate the
energy (power), transportation, emergency response services, and insurance
industries, or any large-scale enterprise.

Whether a telecommunications company seeks solutions to
gain a better and more scientific view of their exposure before, capacity
during and damage after a storm; or disaster recovery personnel that must
be guided to repair and reconstruct damaged infrastructure or assist
people in danger - In all these cases, real-time information indicating
status is critical. Recovery times can be shortened, accuracy is enhanced,
and customers enjoy the continued quality of service they are accustomed
to.

applicability to your business or industry, please contact our business

events. This system permits a Total Event Awareness thus facilitating
diagnosis, response, logistics and rapid response.
Lucent Technologies - Asia/Pacific, Europe
Designed and built complex centralized project management tracking
system for Lucent's GSM team during a nationwide network build out. The
system was deployed in Asia/Pacific and was so successful that work was
expanded to include development of a system to be utilized in Europe as
well.
Government Projects The
Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service initiated a
Broadband Pilot Grant Program that provides funding for the
establishment of Rural Broadband Services in local communities.
PMCentral Systems bid to use the funds for the establishment of a number
of community centers with a minimum of 10 computers with reliable
high-speed Internet access that will be operated free of charge to the
community, and to additionally offer residential and business service to
the community and social services organizations.
UPDATE: PMCentral Systems was the only California bidder, but no
grant award was made to our state. Depending on future availability of
funds in the program, we may re-bid for central valley licenses.
